Bocce Tournament

This week was the annual Italian Festival in Portland. And, what is an Italian Festival without a Bocce Tournament? Emile, his brother Lee, his Dad, and a relative from California all played this year, and didn't do too bad. There are some pretty mean Italians fighting for the trophy, so we'll practice and smoke 'em next year. Emile's form in the picture below is proof to show that he's "got game".

Gymnastics class

We has been loving gymnastics class! Unfortunately all good things must eventually come to an end. We'll join up again after the next season. But, we had fun trying to jump, hang, roll, and be patient. Our favorite part was always the foam pit! I wish I was his size and could be tossed into something soft and colorful!

Weekend at the Coast

Uncle David came home

After 2 long years, Uncle David came home and got to meet Trenton. It has been fun and we are thrilled to have him home. We took David out and rode the new Tram up to OHSU. It was fun and we got to see some views that are just perfect.


After the fun tram ride, we went to dinner and just tried to catch up. It is hard to catch up when you're talking years, but the good news is, David is still the same and he fits in like he never left.

Just being a boy

Alright, so maybe they aren't cowboys, but I thought these little horses were too cute. We were hanging out at the zoo and I think Trenton was almost more in love with this wooden horse than anything else.



And, later on that day.... I found my headband, and Mr. Potato heads glasses being used for something I had never seen before. Apparel on my little man. He is actually playing with the alarm clocks, jamming to music when I discovered this. Kinda funny.

Happy Anniversary

It seems like the season for weddings. So, for our anniversary we went to one. It was a great wedding and brought back floods of fun memories. The best memories are what are in between those six fun filled years.

I couldn't ask for a better husband. We were laughing that even our worst fights are funny; like, bowls in sinks & boiling water. Those are the worst times, and the best times are so sweet and fun that I could keep you here forever reading just how wonderful my husband is. In fact, I'll just tell you, that I couldn't be happier. The next night was our big night out and we went to a great restaurant.



Yummy!!! It is called Mint, and I would recommend this fine establishment to anyone. Especially their salmon with risotto and... yes... a burger. But it was no ordinary burger. I'm salivating just thinking of the sweet potato fries, the jalapeno catsup, and smoked provolone.


And, our hearts were speaking to eachother as we were both wishing for good 'ol junk food at BJ's restaurant.


A pizookie... A freshly baked, hot out of the oven, rich and delicious cookie topped with 2 scoops of vanilla bean ice cream and served in its own deep dish. Your choice of chocolate chunk, white chocolate macadamia nut, peanut butter or oatmeal raisin walnut.
We couldn't agree on flavors, so... we each got one. Way to celebrate sweet heart!! Love you!

We love Ducks!

FYI, if you take your little ones to go feed the ducks, bring enough for the ducks! Trenton became quite interested in the bread/tortilla's the minute the ducks came up to us. It was fun, and I really think they were jealous of Trenton's cool duck hat. If they could ONLY look that cute. Yellow, googly eyes and a cool red tongue that is always visible.

Skater Dudes!

These two boys are too fun when you give them a new toy. I'm not sure who was smiling and giggling more. My favorite picture is the feet. Don't you just love feet? They take you everywhere and tell such a story while in motion.

Happy 4th of July!!!

I love Central Oregon!!!

We were there for Emile's work, and we found a few minutes to play with the geese, walk along the water, play at some playgrounds, and stare at those beautiful sisters mountains.

That smile!!!

After a fun trip, I came home to this GREAT smile! I love being away, but nothing tastes as sweet as my little boy!

California Dreamin

There is nothing better in the world than a great girl friend, a fun car, and a sunny drive up the coast of California! We got to stop and see friends, sunsets, paparazzi, huge houses, beautiful places, old missions, classic San Francisco, Lake Shasta, and so much more. I had such a fun time and it was so fun to have a break from all the day to day stuff. Thanks Cheryl!

A girlfriend???

Yes, he's going in for a kiss. I thought Avery was just a friend until I saw this!!! At least he has good taste!!!
And, they are too cute sitting eating lunch together in Trenton's new house.

Goodbye May

May ended with us celebrating Dad's Birthday! Happy Birthday Dad!!! And, a sad afternoon in the hospital. A fever for 5 days gives worry for Pneumonia. Good thing everything is alright.

We found the coolest slide at the park in Wilsonville!! We couldn't stop laughing, smiling, and taking pictures. We'll be going back there VERY soon!

No matter what, we weren't going to get a smile today! But the bike and outfit are just yummy! Thanks Shonda. Audrey better watch out!

Woodburn Tulip Festival

I love the flowers, and so did Trenton!!! He never looked at the camera, but it was sure nice to see so many colors and play in the dirt!
