My beloved Taco Bell,
I can't believe this is "goodbye". I first met you in my teens and have fallen in love with your adorable pinkish bell. Your delicious food and nutritious meat has kept me coming back for more. Really, where else did 69 cents get me a lunch in high school? I couldn't have been more thrilled when our new home was located so close to you. I used you as a landmark, a comfort food, a break from my walks to the nearby mall, a diet coke stop, and most of all for my fourth meal! Thank you, Taco Bell for creating that ever important fourth meal. See, my husband and I used to call it a "bed lunch", but thanks to you, I now have a real name for that late night craving. Even more, you offered supurb late night service. Common, not everyone is as dedicated as you were. It seems like just yesterday when your fourth meal saved me when I was pregnant. Your saucy refried beans were just what my developing babies needed. For years I could always count on you to come up with an endless menu using the same 6 ingredients. Genius!
TB, I will miss you. It was pain staking to watch this horrible creature of a tractor destroy you. Although I wouldn't have missed this chance to say our farewells.
R.I.P.

How did I miss this? Really, with a rainbow??? So cool, and sad all at once. I really think you should now go back to calling it "bed lunch." I love that.
The rainbow is such a sad/happy coincidence. My condolences to you.
hilarious.
This is a beautiful tribute. The crunchy goodness. The double decker tacos. The fact that if you go, and just to be a smart aleck, ask for a qwe-sa-dill-a they may not even spit in your food, but if they might have, you still eat it any way. Truly, the Bell is a magical place. I will mourn the loss along side you.
We had some wonderful meals and memories there too! I am sad that they knocked it down!
I feel your pain. Apparently we didn't get the memo, and we pulled right into TB one day only to discover we were at Carl's JR! We didn't even know what do to with ourselves... Sad, but true...
I've organized a candle-light vigil at the sight pictured above for tomorrow night at 7:00 - an appropriate FHE activity to say farewell to an unofficial member.
Hi to the Bonfigs!
What a beautiful tribute. And so true that they made magic with only six ingredients...
We have one right down the street, you should come visit!
Very touching tribute! Although I am not a huge fan of toxic hell, I mean taco bell, I glady share my condolences and support to you in this great time of need.
